The glass panel is the largest element of the window, therefore the thermal insulation of the room depends on it to a very large extent.
2-glass or 3-glass panels are commonly used. If you choose a 3-glass panel, the windows will be warmer and more sound proof. Glass with tinted or sun-reflecting coating is also possible, which can be used if the windows are large and on the sunny side.
Glass panels can be of different thicknesses, depending on the selected window frame.
The main things that should be taken into account when choosing glass panels:

In order to reduce heat loss through the glass panel, glass with selective coating or Low-E glass is used.
This coating allows to reduce heat loss up to 2 – 2.5 times. The heat insulation in glass panels depends on the number of glass sheets and air chambers between them, type of glass, as well on the thickness of glass panel.
In the picture below you can see how the number of glass sheets and thickness of glass panel affect temperature on the surface of the inner glass of a glass panel, given the same temperature.
In the constructions manufactured by us glass panels of the following thickness are used:
PROTECTION AGAINST SOLAR ENERGY
Glass panels with coating protecting from sun rays reduce the amount of the received heat and light. Such glazing is usually used on large surfaces, protecting from solar heat and preventing the premises from warming up.
Using glass panels, which filter sun radiation, it is possible to save power energy consumed for the cooling of premises. Since such type of glass panels detains part of heat and sunlight, the inside of the premises is not visible from outside, while inside the premises the light does not dazzle the eyes.
It is possible to use glass panels of various coatings and thickness.
SAFETY GLASS
In order to increase the safety for the glass panels there are used tempered glass, as it is heat-treated and becomes 5 times more durable as the usual glass.
During breaking it crumbles into small pieces without sharp shards of glass, which can injure people.
For the safety reasons can also be used a laminated glass. This glass is made of two or more glass layers with a film between them. Thanks to the film these glasses do not crumble, if they are broken.
Depending on the safety or protection class, for the manufacturing of laminated glass there are used one or more such films. As thicker are glasses and a layer of film, as higher is the durable class, better sound absorbance and protection against solar UV radiation.
SOUND INSULATION GLASS PANELS

DECORATIVE GLASS
Usually, such glass is used in places, where strange eyes are not welcome – sanitary premises, entrance door, any premise, where you don’t want that people passing by can take a look inside.
Usually, in the glass panel only one glass is decorative – it can be completely matte or with some pattern, which allows to notion a shape, but does not allow to see, what happens inside.

Georgian bars are decorative elements that divide the glass package into sectors.
We offer two types of georgian bars - internal, which are placed in the glass package during the assembly process, and external, which are glued to the glass panel.
